140,000 SCHOOLS IN U.S. – BILLIONS IN COST- OBAMA SPEECH TO SCHOOLS (Issue 259)

SEVENTH ARTICLE ABOUT SCHOOLS

LABOR DAY

During the second world war, many concentration camps were set up in Germany. They were actually prison camps of horror. There are many stories of the the deaths, abuse, starvation and misery, suffered by the German people.

One lady named Corrie ten Boom lived and survived one of these camps, moving to United States after the war. She told stories of the filth they lived in and how the women complained about it. They lived in conditions which attracted swarms of flies and the ladies complained about the flies. Reminding them, the filth and flies kept the SS troops away, which prevented them from being raped. She would encourage them to bless the flies.

Tomorrow, September 8th, is the date planned for President Obama to speak via a televised speech across this nation. The controversy over this planned event was in high gear on the news cycles over the holiday weekend. On the liberal news tv stations, a number of articulate guests were on programs, giving the same old circular saw arguments, as they always do in support of any actions which smacks of socialist agenda.

Fox News presented the other side of the argument. There are many in mainstream America speaking up against the airing of the proposed speech. Here in Georgia where I live, many saying they will keep their children home that day, some schools reporting they will not air the speech and even some entire counties banning the speech from being shown in schools.

A very enlightening program aired several times by Fox news, about Textbooks, narrated by Tucker Carlson. Shocking revelations about the textbook industry. Conditions have worsened since the sixties when I presented book reviews to a textbook commission, which I wrote about in a previous article. The situation has evolved to such an extent that almost everything is slanted towards socialism and very little if any material in textbooks presents Americanism, and the history of the principles upon which this country was founded in a favorable light, as the televised program exposed.

Based upon his socialist leanings and socialist agenda, I was one of those who viewed his proposed speech as objectionable from the moment I heard about it. However in view of the fact it has brought to the surface so much news coverage about the socialized school system, it is turning out to be a good thing. Actually an event which has brought about an awareness of what is taking place in the schools, to a more heightened degree than anything in quite sometime. In that respect it’s a good thing.

I haven’t read the speech, but as everyone knows, Obama is a very charming, charismatic speaker. I’m sure it’s going to come across in words and delivery as a highly motivational speech for the children and the parents. One urging the students to study and work hard to achieve anything they want, as he has. But the “under-belly of the beast,” I have written about in my six previous articles relative to schools in this series. There’s more to it than the presentation and delivery of a smooth, velvety-sounding speech.

I’m reminded of the time worn phrase, “Never mind the cheese, gotta watch the trap.”

So many have already been roped in by all the flowery, mesmerizing speeches, made on the campaign trail, and flocked to the polls in droves to vote for Obama. All the promises he made, turned out to be something quite different and in just a few months has turned this country upside down and many who voted for him have awakened and are now actively protesting and joining “tea parties.”

Despite some awakening of mainstream America, the fact is, nothing has changed Obama, nor the direction he is taking this country. Quite the contrary, conditions and directions still on the downward spiral road of socialism. Nothing has turned the tide as of yet.

Therefore like the advice given to those in bondage in concentration camps, living in filth and flies, told to bless the flies, it was a protection; I suggest to the reader, bless the proposed speech by Obama, it may be the eye-opener to parents to begin examining the undesirables of the tax-supported socialistic public school system. I definitely hope so.
