Do You Hear What I Hear? Do You See What I See? Do You Walk In Another’s Shoes? (Issue 175)

“OH what ere twould do us to see ourselves as others see us?”

So Burns wrote in his famous poem after sitting in church behind a high society lady draped in furs, and observed lice crawling around in her finery.

Lice are parasites which sometimes attach to human beings, usually in hair, and are not easy to get rid of. School children frequently get it because they jump off on to others clothing and sometimes transmitted from coats hanging together on a rack. Like all parasites they must have a host to feed off to exist.
