Much in the news this week about the hijacked American Ship headed for Somalia with a load of supplies for the people of that country. We are hearing just how pervasive this mode of operation is for the terrorist of that region.
According to the news, several Pirates (terrorists) boarded the ship, pulling along side in a high powered speed boat which sank. After boarding the American vessel, they kidnapped the ship’s Captain, who, as the news reports volunteered to go instead of crew member. The hijacker left with the ship’s Captain on one of the ship’s lifeboats at gunpoint.

Here it is Good Friday, a week in which most of those in the Christian religion celebrate the Life of Christ culminating with the Resurrection on Sunday morning.
Last night I attended a service with a friend of mine in Flowery Branch, Georgia. It was a lovely service and I met a number of very pleasant people there. I enjoyed it for several reasons. One being that it was in a little town that my parents lived in a number of years before they passed.

Writing articles for a blog site is a lot of pleasure, lot of work, time consuming and sometimes a bit frustrating. But it has some rewarding perks, like expressing my opinion. Sometimes I write about universal principles and value judgments. I can write about current events and yesterday’s news. I write about persons, places, conditions and things. Lately I’ve been writing about money. A topic we should all have some interest in, inasmuch as its the medium of exchange we use and need in our everyday lives.

The G20 Summit in London dominated the news until Korea launched something into the stratosphere. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Is it a missile or a satellite??
It behooves us to pay more attention to what was launched in London as the 20 world politicians met. Was it a sort of PTA meeting, where people meet, eat, and retreat? What exactly did they do?
