Senator Ron Paul is frequently in the news expressing his views, talking, writing and speaking, and many tout him as the spokesman for Conservatives.
I have written about him a couple of times many months past, some of my readers agree, some disagree with my opinions about Senator Paul. I do think he knows a great deal about Austrian economics, but uninformed and confused in other areas.
In an article by Senator Paul, April 27, 2010, he disagrees with the characterization that this administration, headed by President Obama, is Socialist or has strong Socialist leanings. Stating Mr. Obama is “very much a Corporatist.” Explaining in many ways this is worse than an out-right socialist. Implying Socialism is not so bad, that there are other worse things.

FIFTH AND LAST IN THIS SERIES
Writing about and quoting dyed-in-the-wool Socialist Fascists is not my favorite thing to do. However, I do believe we are in a war of ideas and a battle. In this connection, all great historical battle strategists inform us that in order to win we must know ourselves and know the enemy. Hence, it is very informative to hear what the Italian dictator, Benito Mussolini, had to say.

FOURTH IN THIS SERIES
Writing articles for this blogsite has been an interesting venture. Typing with two fingers, writing almost 400 articles, has taken a lot of time. However, when I sit down to write, I do not usually know what subject I will write about, and just begin as ideas come to me.
I am encouraged by the many emails and comments, not to mention the 12,848 spam comments. All sorts of comments, selling something, but frequently quite interesting and complimentary. I do not usually post because I’m not selling anything on my blogsite yet, but mostly expressing ideas.

THIRD IN THIS SERIES
I have written almost 400 lengthy articles since I began on this website early 2008, just over two years ago. All still posted on my Octogenariansblog.com. Many of them relating to Freedom, Property Rights & Politics. Sprinkled among the articles, are stories about my journey through life.
I write because I must, and in the hopes I might make some reader stop and think about this wonderful country we live in, and the Freedoms we have enjoyed, and an awarenes of much we have lost. I write in simple, easy-to-understand terms. The ideas I express are mine and things I have learned from others and personal experience. Inasmuch as I have never been able to prove anything to anyone, my writings are not to prove anything, however, I can sometimes on rare occasions offer proof of a particular point.
