WE HAVE JUST CELEBRATED PATRIOT’S DAY AND AROUND THE CORNER IS 4th OF JULY
In President Abraham Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address he stated: “Our Fathers brought forth on this continent a new nation.” Ours is a country born out of the hearts and minds of a people with a burning desire to be free. This nation was created by these men and women who left the bondage of rulers, battled the oceans, wilderness, Indians and hardships to bring forth this new Nation. They invented this Nation.

FOURTH ARTICLE IN SERIES – APRIL18, 2010
A great book about the Statue of Liberty is titled, “Like the Country she symbolizes, she stands Tall and Proud, upholding FREEDOM’S HOLY LIGHT,” by Richard H. Schneider. It’s a look into American and French cultural history. It will “re-awaken a just patriotic fervor in the hearts and minds of all readers.”
At this particular time in 2010, a time in which Americans are beginning to awaken to what’s happening in this country, many great books excite us to the awakening. Another good book I read many years ago, titled “While we Slept,” by John T. Flynn. Probably obtainable from Laissez Faire books over the internet.
THIRD IN THIS SERIES – STATUE OF LIBERTY, TEA PARTY AND MORE
In my first of this series I wrote about The Statue of Liberty, including some statistics about her. In my second article I touched upon the crucible of the Tea Party Movement. In this article, I ask the question, what can we do? What have we done in the past? What is our agenda for tomorrow, relative to the dire straits we are all in today as a result of the deteriorating conditions in this country?

In my first article I gave a brief history and some of the statistics relative to the Statue of Liberty. One of the great monuments to Freedom of the people in this country. A symbol among other monuments, such as the cracked iron Liberty Bell.
