A PERSIAN PROVERB: “He who knows not, and knows not that he knows not, is a fool – shun him. He who knows not, and knows that he knows not, is a child, teach him. He who knows and knows not that he knows – is asleep, wake him. He who knows and knows that he knows is wise, follow him.”
One of my favorite quotations, and I’m reflecting upon that quotation while writing these articles from the book “Witness” by Whitaker Chambers, who was a communist and defected, and testified in the congressional hearings, exposing the communists in seats of government. I suggest reading the book, because he knew – listen to him.

PART TWO

Back in the early part of the twentieth century, we were still a relatively young nation, some living in cities but most living on farms. A country of citizens living their lives enjoying Freedom in this country. But there have always been those who wanted power to rule over others. We were told from the beginning of this nation, Freedom requires eternal viligance. Slack in that vigilance began manifesting itself as a progressive movement of power seekers began their erosion of Individual Freedom.

PART ONE
Here we are in the middle of the year 2010 in the middle of a mid-term election, middle of a very hot summer. In the middle of a news cycle about who is going to sit in Helen Thomas’ former seat at White House press conferences, and why President Obama was not invited to the wedding of Chelsea Clinton’s million dollar wedding, over the weekend.
Lots of other news items touched upon, like the lavish parties the Department of Justice enjoy, plus the expensive travel and expensive parties thrown by Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi. Or the long-time lifestyle of reported tax evasions by Charlie Rangel.

SIXTH AND FINAL ARTICLE IN THIS SERIES.
Before writing these six articles on a Battle Plan for America, I thought about it a long time, and kept delaying for quite sometime. However, after watching the increasing threat of the Gulf oil spill and no meaningful steps to stop it; listening to the congressional hearing with Tony Hayward; the Supreme Court hearings to appoint Elena Kagan; another congressional hearing to assign General Petraeus to Afghanistan, and all the news about that war; plus listening to daily speeches about how well everything is going, and all the propaganda talk about how bright the future looks for this country, decided this Independence Day weekend was a good time to express it.
