I wish I found this whole thing startling or upseting, but I find it to be so expected that I am glad that the total isn't more than it is for all these staffers. What a way to give back to the country, by taking money from those who earn less than you and somehow convincing yourself that you are not doing it for your own gain, but rather doing for the very people who you are stealing from.
