PROPERTY RIGHTS AND OWNERSHIP – MOST MISUNDERSTOOD CONCEPT – 2ND in SERIES (ISSUE 277)

SECOND IN SERIES: PROPERTY RIGHTS AND OWNERSHIP – MISUNDERSTOOD CONCEPT

In my first article on this subject, I pointed out the crisis we face and the battle we are in, can be reduced to two factions: Socialism, a system of bondage or Freedom and ownership of personal property Rights. I might add Good versus Evil.

Briefly, there are two phases to compulsive socialism, as defined by Marx in the communist manisfesto. “From each according to his ability to each according to his needs.” The first phase deals with “taking” the second deals with, “granting.”

Taking and giving what? Your PROPERTY. Your money and all it can buy is your property. Socialism is taking from the haves, or producers, to re-distribute to non-producers, the “have nots.” A system of plundering. Taking from owners to give to non-owners.

Which brings us to ownership of property and ownership RIGHTS. First of all one must ask, what is a “Right?” It’s a Universal Principle or Law. By virtue of the fact we exist, we have a right to life, given to us by a Creator. From this Right stems all other Rights, and follows we must own property to sustain that life which we have a Right to. Therefore if we have a Right to life and have a Right to sustain it, which requires property, food, clothing and shelter, we have a Right to own property.

Universal law or a Principle is undeviating, immutable and not subject to what we as human beings think or understand. Like the law of gravity it exists independent of what we know, think, like or dislike.

Under this Universal Law stems many other rights. We have a right to own property, Right of possession, Right of refusal, Right of self-government, Right of Privacy, Right of action, Right of publicity, Right of choice, and many other rights under this Right to Life universal Principle.

Under the heading of “Right to Life” comes Right to ownership, because we must own to exist. It’s not necessary to exercise one’s right to publicity, in order to exist, for example, but must exercise ownership.

So what is ownership? Beginning with your life, it is that which has a boundary, you control, and have the ability to destroy. Simple as that.

Because this is an inalienable Right everyone has, the time-worn phrase,”One’s rights end where the other fellow’s nose begins” is a truism. We have no right to take the property of another without the permission of the owner. We have no right to cross the boundaries of another’s property in violation of the owner’s wishes. We have no right to control that which another owns.

Accordingly, despite the fact we have extensive rights, there are limitations. Limited by the fact the other person has the same Rights as you do.

As moral guides to help us understand, we have the Ten Commandments and the Declaration of Independence. Seven of the Ten commandments teach us, “what thou shalt not do,” and deal with property Rights. “Thou shalt not steal and thou shalt not kill,” for example, remind us of one’s property Rights. An expression and revelation of universal laws.

Living in a time when there is gross misunderstanding about property Rights, and living under a centralized political government, which has assumed power to take, take, take from property owners, by the stroke of a pen and strapping on a gun, we are overdue to understand property Rights.

In order to reclaim individual freedom and property Rights, it is absolutely necessary to grasp the meaning of the moral imperative. Before we can take back this country from the jaws of the socialist thinkers, we must understand what it is we have lost and the nature of the enemy that took it. That is the nature of the enemy from within.

It’s all about property Rights, dear hearts and gentle people. Disguised as humanitarism, the welfare state medicates with do-goodism. A cover for the system of thievery we are all victimized by. Plus the jackhammer of fancy rhetoric, morning, noon and night. Language to obscure the true meaning and actuality of what is happening and has happened. An attempt at alteration of the truth about what is in store relative to plans for this country and its people.

It is imperative the American people wake up to truth and acknowledge it’s all about Property Rights and understand what property Rights are. Possession is not ownership.
