Some months back I wrote several articles about tax-supported schools. Recently read about the uproar caused by Obama speaking directly to school children, in a speech televised to children in classrooms. Much criticism over this event. It’s as though the current regime may be awakening “the sleeping giant.”
I for one am vehemently opposed to the tax-supported school system. They are socialist schools that indoctrinate instead of educating. I battled the system back in the sixties. Wound up removing my children, kept them home and home-schooled. Almost unheard of then. I faced arrest for defiance of the compulsory school law. When the school board called me and informed me I would be arrested if did not return them to school, I was prepared to deal with them. Which is another interesting story I’ll write about in another article.
I had done a number of things dealing with the system, thinking I could do something to improve it. Even formed a textbook committe to do book reviews on the material being taught. Even back then I recognized teachings of communism was even in arithmitic books. But I changed nothing in the system despite all my efforts and good intentions.
I equated the system with a house of prostitution. One could take a beautiful home, furnish it with expensive furniture, hire georgeous women as prostitutes, place a sophisticated, educated lady in charge as the madam, name it The House of Joy and Redemption, and you would still have a place of ill-repute and prostitution.
Government schools are similiar to this. We have built large up-to- date facilities, furnished with everything the children need; libraries, computors, lunchrooms, etc. Hired well-educated teachers. Placed a competent principal in charge, given free lunches and free textbooks. Furnished government transportation to transport children to and from. Installed all kinds of available sports, soft-ball, baseball, football, scocer, etc. Established classes in music, art, theater. But we still have a system of thievery and a system of socialism, any way you swing it.
The big difference in a house of prostitution and the Socialist school system is prostitution is a free enterprise, free market system and the tax-supported schools are funded by an immoral system – thievery. Taxes by definition are an involuntary relinquishment of one’s property (money) hence thievery or stealing. And another difference is voluntary participation, whereas the public tax-supported schools are based upon compulsory participation, and to add injury to insult the young children are subjected to compulsory vaccinations.
Bilions upon billions of dollars are extracted from hard-working citizens to fund this socialist system of schooling. Across the board in most of the fifty states, half the money collected via taxes is spent on schooling. Here in Georgia where I live according to the office of planning and budget over half of the 8.2 billion collected is spent on schools, that’s over 4 billion anually in this one state. Additionally, according to published reports, 2.3 percent of the federal governments budget of 3 trillion is spent on schooling.
Multiply the over 4 billion spent on schooling in Georgia by the 50 states and we see 200 billion collected and spent on schools. That’s a staggering amount of money by any stretch of one’s imagination.
Anyway you swing it a house of prostitution is in business for bought and paid for sex. And anyway you swing it the the tax-funded, socialist school system is a system that indoctrinates children into the philosophy of socialism, paid for by a system of thievery. It is self-evident.
Understandably many parents are disturbed over the Obama Speech being shown in the schools and the resulting questions and requirements of the students outlined in published reports. But what is occurring is only the effects of the immoral system. I think we are now in a six-plus generation of students graduationg as products of socialist indoctrination. Which means many parents are products of this system.
In my opinion nothing is going to have any meaningful impact insofar as turning this nation around and off its course of socialism, until something changes in the school system. A fundamental, drastic change must take place with reference to schooling and a return to education instead of indoctrination.
It’s a situation whereby parents can address on their local level, because they are operated by local school boards, by your friends and neighbors. Does not necessitate a march on Washington to effect a change, nor large scale national “tea” parties of protest. Small local school board tea parties across this country could impact a change. Come up with a platform of how to take the education of ones’ children out of the hands of political government and return education to the private sector, whereby the parents have the control of the education of their children instead of government being in charge of their indoctrination.
It sounds like a daunting task, and it is, but what is at stake? Either the bondage of socialism or individual Freedom is what’s at stake. Every nine month school term, millions graduate, go out into society indoctrinated in the philosophy of socialism. Everyone is affected, whether or not you have children in school. For example the 40 million members of the AARP have grandchildren and great grandchildren in this horrendous system and all lives are affected by each generation of socialist school graduates.
One of the small changes in this country is that nowadays homeschooling is permitted, which is a good thing. But even home schoolers are subjected to some socialist teachings via the textbooks required by the state.
I remind the reader socialism is a system of government in opposition to individual freedom and private ownership of property. It has two major brand names, Communism and Fascism. It has been within the past year we began hearing about socialism in the news media. Prior to just over a year ago, we rarely heard mention of the word. Fortunately now there is plenty of information available for anyone to be informed about it.
And as Dr. Phil says, we can’t change that which we refuse to acknowledge.
