In my eight decades of listening to many political campaigns, I have never heard anything as nasty and vicious as this one. It seem as though all of a sudden the anger and frustration of the citizens in this country with reference to what is happening to our beloved country and personal Freedom, is at an all time high.
It seems to me all the talk about “redistribution of wealth” struck a nerve like nothing else has. A friend of mine out of state sent me a story he read about how one lady who was going for lunch in a restaurant decided to embark on an unscientific experiment of “wealth redistribution.” It’s a classic story and an interesting one.
Walking down the street towards the restaurant, she encountered a homeless man wearing an Obama t-shirt. She walked past the man, entered the restaurant for lunch, sat down and her waiter appeared wearing an Obama necktie. She ordered lunch, ate and the waiter presented her with the bill.
It was at that point she decided not to tip the waiter and explained to him why she was not tipping him. She began by explaining Obama’s “redistribution of wealth” concept, telling him there was a homeless man just down the street who “needed” it more than he did. The waiter was obviously getting angry over her decision. As she continued to explain she was “redistributing the wealth” because she decided there was someone else who needed it more than he did, she paid her bill and walked out on the angry waiter.
She walked back down the street and handed the homeless man $10. The homeless man wearing the Obama t-shirt was very pleased, but the waiter wearing the Obama necktie was very unhappy and angry.
The concept of wealth redistribution may sound idealistic in theory, but practical application will predictably make the person arbitrarily relieved of his property both angry and unhappy.
Last night, I heard Tom Delay, a former congressman, who appeared on “Hardball” with Chris Matthews, state without qualms that Obama is a Marxist. And Karl Marx in his Communist manifesto states: “From each according to his ability to each according to his needs” which defines the Marxist communist brand of socialism.
Let Freedom Ring!

Hey there! This is kind of off topic but I need some guidance from an established blog. Is it very hard to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick. I’m thinking about making my own but I’m not sure where to begin. Do you have any tips or suggestions? Thanks
