Back in the early part of the twentieth century, we were still a relatively young nation, some living in cities but most living on farms. A country of citizens living their lives enjoying Freedom in this country. But there have always been those who wanted power to rule over others. We were told from the beginning of this nation, Freedom requires eternal viligance. Slack in that vigilance began manifesting itself as a progressive movement of power seekers began their erosion of Individual Freedom.

A few weeks ago we heard a lot on the news about “death panels.” Then it died down, no pun intended.
Apparently in this scheme of things in Washington for a New World Order, some interpretation of the language for the older generation in the eleven hundred-page health bill meant no health care. But rather than spending money on seniors, if they were ill, better to just allow them to pass on to another realm, get out of the way, to allow room and health care for this younger socialist spirited generation.

I’m sure most have heard an old saying, “All the world is wrong but me and thee and sometimes I have my doubts about thee.”
I receive a number of e-mails and comments about my blogsite articles. Most are thoughtful, considerate and complimentary. Many are in agreement on subjects I write about, but a few are condemning in their disagreements. I welcome all of them. As I view it, for the few who write in opposition to the ideas I expound upon, there are probably dozens who agree with them but never ink their opposition. Therefore I think it important I publish and respond to those who oppose.

THE WORD “BRAINWASHING” ENTERED THE DICTIONARY IN THE FIFTIES
Many months back I wrote an article which touched on the technique of “brainwashing.” Decided to write about it again as a result of all that is happening currently, politically and educationally.
These are events as I recall them in the fifties. The Korean war was in full force. I was married to a military officer, who was in Air-Sea Rescue flying those large banana-shaped helicoptors. He was ordered for a tour of duty in Korea, where he spent a year in air-sea rescue, frequently going behind enemy lines to rescue wounded American soldiers.
