THIRD IN THIS SERIES – STATUE OF LIBERTY, TEA PARTY AND MORE
In my first of this series I wrote about The Statue of Liberty, including some statistics about her. In my second article I touched upon the crucible of the Tea Party Movement. In this article, I ask the question, what can we do? What have we done in the past? What is our agenda for tomorrow, relative to the dire straits we are all in today as a result of the deteriorating conditions in this country?

IN A SPEECH LAST WEEK, PRESIDENT OBAMA SAID: TEA PARTY SHOULD BE THANKING HIM!!!
In my first article I gave a brief history and some of the statistics relative to the Statue of Liberty. One of the great monuments to Freedom of the people in this country. A symbol among other monuments, such as the cracked iron Liberty Bell.
Sarah Palin is a phenomenon. I’ve been wondering when and who would rise up from the ashes of the burning embers of Freedom to speak up and speak out. To make a difference.
I have only mentioned her name a couple of times in previous articles in reference to the last political campaign. Specifically because she was the only candidate who mentioned the word “freedom” in her speeches. I never even heard John McCain speak the word. His phrase was “love of country.”
Number Three in a Series
This is a nation of over 300 million citizens. Once the most powerful nation in the world, built on the notion that Freedom is the desired state of being. When people are free there is no limit to their creativity and desire for a good life. To have and to hold. To live and let live. A nation of good and decent people, caring and generous, thoughtful and considerate, with high morals and a willingness to work and produce. As a result we reached the higest standard of living for the majority, known in history. What happened to us?
