FIRST IN SERIES ABOUT SCHOOLS
Rarely does one pick up a newspaper without reading some disturbing story about schools in this nation. A few days ago here in Georgia, front page news about suspicions of cheating on test scores, including extraordinary gains and drops in test scores.
Almost daily we read stories about all kinds of abusive treatment in the tax-supported school system. Stories involving students and students, teachers and students, bus drivers, and just about everyone involved in a system which involves millions of students across this nation, and billions of dollars.

That’s mine!! A small child yells, when another grabs a toy out of its hands.
Why is so much of the money I have earned taken out of my weekly paycheck, the worker asks, when he opens his weekly paycheck, and seeing his salary drop from $600 to $325, after all the deductions. Taxes, taxes, where does it go?
Last week a lady knocked on my door looking for a job house cleaning. I invited her in and interviewed her. She appeared in excellent health, but said she drew a disability check plus food stamps from the government. Lives with her daughter, a single parent with one child, and they too receive government doles and food stamp vouchers.

FOURTH IN A SERIES ABOUT DRIVING + LICENSE

In my previous three articles about government control of your vehicle from personal experiences, the bottom line is you don’t really own your car. If you go to a car dealer today and pay cash for it, political government mandates things you must do, or face a fine or jail or both.
You are ordered to buy a tag, buy a driver’s license, purchase insurance. Then there are other things you are ordered to do, like pay for an inspection to have a decal on your car annually. You are required to pay large sums in taxes on the purchase of the vehicle – state and federal.
