Here we are in the middle of the year 2010 in the middle of a mid-term election, middle of a very hot summer. In the middle of a news cycle about who is going to sit in Helen Thomas’ former seat at White House press conferences, and why President Obama was not invited to the wedding of Chelsea Clinton’s million dollar wedding, over the weekend.
Lots of other news items touched upon, like the lavish parties the Department of Justice enjoy, plus the expensive travel and expensive parties thrown by Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi. Or the long-time lifestyle of reported tax evasions by Charlie Rangel.

As I recall it was poet Robert Burns who made the famous statement: “Oh what a gift to see ourselves as others see us.”
Currently, it seems more apropos to paraphrase and say, Oh what a gift to see ourselves as I see me. In the scheme of things as I have described in this series of articles, How do you view yourself? What do you really know about all that has taken place in this country, and how it impacts on your life? And the future of your children and grandchildren?

George Orwell said stated in his book, “We shall squeeze you empty, then we shall fill you with ourselves.” Evidence of this is all around us, as the centralized government takes and replaces with their doles and controls from their seats of power in Washington.
It has only been a short time since the news cycle was all about the proposed speech of Obama to the school children across this nation. I wrote an article about it at the time, still posted on my web-site for anyone to read. I explained how leaders like Hitler and Mao Tse-Tung, in their scheme of communism and fascist brands of socialism, promoted indoctrination and worship for themselves from young school children.

This hot August in 2009, much is happening all at once it seems. Push has come to shove and the liberal left, those who stand for socialism, while denying it, and those few Americans who stand up for those Principles upon which this nation was founded, i.e., individual Freedom and private ownership of property, appear to be clashing.
