SECOND IN SERIES ABOUT SCHOOLS
I have several hundred posted articles, several about the school system, and my personal battles with the system in years past. However, it’s been about a year since I’ve written much about schools, but the articles are still posted on my blogsite.
Many of my articles have been about Freedom, Politics, Economics, and a way of life in this Country, which has dramatically changed, and departed from the Principles upon which it was founded. A changed way of life which has eroded Personal Freedom and private Property Rights.

Many trends for any number of things begins in California, then spreads across this country like the Santa Ana winds spread wildfires. This year, a landmark case relating to home schooling was filed in the courts. A California court of Appeals wanted home schooling outlawed. However, it was defeated on the grounds that parents have a Constitutional Right to teach their own children.
The price of Freedom is “eternal vigilance.” Therefore, because the aim of the socialist base in this country is to take over a generation of young students to indoctrinate in the philosophy of socialism, there will be other battles to follow, despite the fact one’s right to home school was upheld in the California case.
The tax-supported, so called “public schools” are a system of dyed in the wool socialism, make no mistake about that. As if indoctrinating children into the philosophy of socialism is not bad enough, children are subjected to drugs, abuse, bullying, physical fights, and some even lose their lives.

When one has lived as long as I have, you experience many twists and turns, ups and downs, ins and outs, fun times and sad times. And the beat goes on.
Because of my blogging and the 100 plus articles posted, I’ve been receiving some publicity lately. Until recently, I’ve led a rather quiet, low-key life for the past few years. A long-time friend from Woodstock, Georgia, named Emily, called twice this week to remind me of some past publicized events and times.
Her first call was about the much publicized Federal Court Case in the 70s, when I refused the forced school policy relative to immunizations. Because of that, I was on the six and 10 o’clock TV news, front page of the newspaper and all over talk radio. The reporters said I was newsworthy because I was one lone woman, living in the country, fighting the bureaucracy and winning. And I did win the case.

Confucius says, “If your plans are for one year, plant rice. If your plans are for ten years, plant trees. If your plans are for one hundred years, educate men.”
So what is education? It is simply an acquisition of knowledge and truth. How does one acquire it? Not in the tax-supported school system.
