FIRST IN SERIES ABOUT SCHOOLS
Rarely does one pick up a newspaper without reading some disturbing story about schools in this nation. A few days ago here in Georgia, front page news about suspicions of cheating on test scores, including extraordinary gains and drops in test scores.
Almost daily we read stories about all kinds of abusive treatment in the tax-supported school system. Stories involving students and students, teachers and students, bus drivers, and just about everyone involved in a system which involves millions of students across this nation, and billions of dollars.

FIFTH IN SERIES ABOUT SCHOOLS
Last few days I’ve been writing about the schools in this country, including stories of some of my personal experiences. Yesterday I had decided my next one would be a story of experiences in Nevada with the Textbook Commission. Imagine my surprise when I turned on TV last evening, there’s Tucker Carlson on Fox News reporting on Textbooks, in an entire program relative to what’s happening today in textbook material.
I did not see all of the program, but what I did see, warns parents to beware of current textbook material. There’s an absence of material about American history, a great deal of material on Muslim religion, and more undesirable material in the textbooks.
